The San Diego Padres and the Baltimore Orioles meet Saturday in MLB action from Oriole Park. Here’s a Baltimore Orioles vs San Diego Padres prediction. This will be the second installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.

San Diego Padres Betting Preview

In their last series the Padres took on the Washington Nationals. San Diego cruised in that set, winning all three games 4-0, 12-3 and 3-0. On Friday against the O’s the Padres were able to take a 6-4 win. Starter Adam Mazur lasted 2.2 innings with one earned run.

In the starter slot for the Saturday game it’ll be Michael King. This season King is 8-6 with a 3.28 ERA in 21 games (20 starts). In 136 career games (39 starts) King is 21-23 with a 3.35 ERA.

Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview

Over on the O’s side, they had some trouble versus the Miami Marlins this week. Baltimore lost the first two Games 6-3 each before a 7-6 win in the finale. On Friday the Orioles were out-hit 13-8 and gave up four in the sixth inning alone.

It’ll be Dean Kremer as starter for the O’s on Saturday. This year Kremer is 4-6 with a 4.43 ERA in 13 starts. Kremer is 26-26 with a 4.36 ERA in 84 career Games (83 starts).

Baltimore Orioles vs San Diego Padres Prediction

I’ll go Padres in this one. King is cooking on the mound these days. He’s 2-1 in his last three games but has given up just one earned run in each. That’s three total earned in 18.1 innings for King over that trio. As for Kremer, he’s 0-2 in his last three with 10 earned runs in 14.0 innings total.

On Friday the Padres were able to power out the win but it took them seven different pitchers to get there. King is going to have to eat up some innings in Saturday’s Game, but San Diego should still have a pretty good shot at another W here.
