Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview

Over on the Orioles’ side, they played the Oakland Athletics in their weekend series. Similarly, the Orioles lost 19-8 Saturday but otherwise won the remaining pair 3-2 and 6-3. In Tuesday’s matchup Baltimore was out-hit 14-5 in the defeat. Dean Kremer coughed up five earned on seven hits and three walks in the start.

It’ll be Corbin Burnes in the starter slot for the O’s on Wednesday. This year Burnes is 9-3 with a 2.32 ERA in 18 starts. Over his career Burnes is 54-30 with a 3.13 ERA in 185 Games (124 starts).

I’ll stay with the Orioles. Burnes took a loss back on June 22 versus Houston with four earned in 7.0 innings. He’s 1-0 since then, however. In that time Burnes has 10.0 innings with three earned runs. As for Imanaga, he’s been a bit spotty over his last trio with 16 earned in 15.0 innings (10 earned in one start over 3.0 frames).

On Tuesday the O’s didn’t play particularly well in any capacity, failing to get past a rough start from Kremer. The offense got a solo homer from Jordan Westburg and two hits from Adley Rutschman but not much else. It’s going to take a big bounce-back to get the win Wednesday.
