Ayeza Khan reveals her all-time favourite co-stars | The Express Tribune
Ayeza Khan recently took to Instagram to share a star-studded tribute to some of her favourite co-stars. Her post featured a slideshow of pictures with the industry's biggest names. The caption, "Sharing sliders with my fave co-stars from the past few years! Can you guess who I haven't worked with yet? And who would you love to see me sign my next project with," sparked plenty of fan theories in the comments.
Leading the list was none other than Humayun Saeed, her on-screen partner in the massive hit Mere Paas Tum Ho. In this TV sensation, Humayun played the famously heartbroken Danish, a man willing to give everything for his wife, Mehwish, played by Ayeza. The show kept audiences glued to their screens week after week, and Humayun's intense portrayal earned both record-breaking TRPs and rave reviews. The storya whirlwind of love, betrayal, and heartbreakremains etched in the minds of viewers, and this post brought back waves of nostalgia.
Next, we have Osman Khalid Butt, who starred alongside Ayeza in Chupke Chupke. The 2021 Ramadan special brought some much-needed laughter to viewers, casting Osman as Faazi and Ayeza as Meenu. The Nawab family dynamics and Meenu's hilarious schemes were a recipe for comic gold. This duo brought out the best of each other, making Chupke Chupke a light-hearted fan favourite that solidified their on-screen chemistry as one of the cutest in recent years.
A special spot in her post went to her real-life co-star and husband, Danish Taimoor. The pair has brought their real-life chemistry to the screen in shows like Chand Tara and Mehar Posh. Chand Tara followed Danish's character, a software engineer longing for independence, and Ayeza's Tara, a gynaecologist eager to join a big family. The show delved into the chaos of joint family life, and the duo's portrayal of love navigating family drama charmed fans. In Mehar Posh, they took on heavier themes, with Ayeza playing Mehru, a kind-hearted girl tangled in a dramatic love story with Danish's character, Shahjahan, her ever-supportive next-door neighbour.
A recent highlight in Ayeza's acting career was her collaboration with Hamza Ali Abbasi in Jaan e Jahan. Hamza portrayed Shehraam, a man torn between family duty and his moral compass, while Ayeza played Mahnoor, his emotional anchor. The drama's finale earned rave reviews, with fans declaring it a masterpiece worthy of the big screen. One fan even suggested that the last episode "deserved to air in cinemas."
