Austin Reaves Names Lakers’ Best Player

Austin Reaves has been one of two players who has been most pivotal to the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2-0 start to the season.

The other is Anthony Davis.

Shortly after L.A. beat the Phoenix Suns in impressive fashion this week, Reaves spoke to the media about who his squad’s best player right now is.

The answer?

Davis.

“I feel like he’s the best player on our team and we play through him,” Reaves said.

“He’s a high level talent. I expect him to go out every night and be dominant. What he’s been doing is kind of, it’s unreal, obviously, but I expect him to go dominate the game in many facets. I’m just lucky to have him as a teammate.”

Will Davis be able to keep playing at this high of a level for the rest of the season? Time will tell.
