Arsenal's best and worst players from hard-fought Wolves win
At this stage in the season, not every win can be pretty, and Arsenal learned that lesson as they battled to a 2-0 win over Wolves.
Clearly carrying weary legs from their midweek battle with Bayern Munich, the Gunners were well below their electric best but they were still good value for three points against a spirited Wolves outfit and climbed their way back to the Premier League summit for the time being.
Here are Arsenal's best and worst players according to 90min's player ratings.
Arsenal's best player vs Wolves
Martin Odegaard - 7/10
This was by no means Martin Odegaard's best performance in an Arsenal shirt - not even close - but the Norway international did his best to drag his tired body through a grueling 90 minutes and led by example doing so.
He got his reward in stoppage time with a late dart forwards that saw him slot home Arsenal's second goal of the evening and give them three much-needed minutes of relaxation before the final whistle.
Honourable mention
David Raya - 7/10
Wolves never really looked like scoring, but on the odd moments they did, David Raya stood tall to stop them.
Inspiring confidence from the back, Raya pulled off a huge save to deny Joao Gomes in the first half, flashing quick reactions to tip the ball on to the post and away from danger. Had that gone in, Arsenal's aching legs may not have had it in them to roar back to victory.
Arsenal's worst player vs Wolves
Bukayo Saka - 5/10
Look, he's obviously exhausted, and Wolves' willingness to get physical with him left Bukayo Saka struggling to get into this Game.
Saka had the odd flash of quality but he was nowhere near his electric self and is in desperate need of a rest. Unfortunately, with the stakes so high, that seat on the bench will be getting further and further away.
Dishonourable mention
Jakub Kiwior - 5/10
It's no secret that Arsenal want a new left-back this summer. Perhaps that's all that needs to be said here.
In defence of Jakub Kiwior, he is not a left-back and has never claimed to be, but he did look uncomfortable in this position, missing a handful of tackles and failing to offer the required creativity going forwards. This role isn't for him.
