The New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals meet Sunday in NFL action from State Farm Stadium. Here’s an Arizona Cardinals vs NY Jets Prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Cardinals vs Jets pick.

New York Jets Betting Preview

The Jets started out the season well enough at 2-1 with a loss to the 49ers ahead of wins versus the Titans and Patriots. New York would hit the skids with losses to the Broncos, Vikings, Bills, Steelers and Patriots over the next five, though.

New York finally got back into the win column last Thursday versus the Texans. The Jets were shaky in the first half and down 7-0, but rallied from there for a 21-13 win. QB Aaron Rodgers logged 211 yards and three scores. Davante Adams had seven grabs for 91 yards and a TD.

Arizona Cardinals Betting Preview

Over on the Cardinals’ side, they managed to go 1-3 over their first four Games with a win over the Rams among losses to the Bills, Lions and CoMMAnders. Arizona went 3-1 from there with a loss to the Packers mixed with wins over the 49ers, Chargers and Dolphins.

In the Bears Game last weekend, Arizona was up 21-9 by halftime. The Cards kept Chicago off the scoreboard in the second for a 29-9 win. QB Kyler Murray logged 154 yards passing, and James Conner led the rush with 18 carries for 107 yards.

Arizona Cardinals vs NY Jets Prediction

I’ll stay with the Cardinals, but I’m not touching it. Arizona handled a free-falling Bears team pretty easily last weekend, giving up just 241 total yards (172 passing), 3.4 yards per play and 16 first downs. The Cards’ passing Game wasn’t great (137 yards) but they made up for it with the run (213 yards). Arizona has notched a total of 57 points over the last two Games, but they’ll face a tougher defense this weekend.

As for the Jets, they took a while to get going in their much-needed win over Houston last week. New York finished with nine penalties and a tepid 5-of-12 rate on third downs, but did pretty well on defense with 322 yards (135 passing) and 4.3 yards per play allowed. The Jets should get a bump from some extra rest and prep ahead of this one, but I can’t trust such a wholly inept team to cover in any given week. I’m staying away.

Andrew's Free Pick: Arizona Cardinals -1.5
