60th Wickford Art Festival this weekend
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Festival has been produced by the Wickford Art Association since 1962 and this year we are celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Wickford Art Festival. We invite you to come and discover the Wickford Art Festival at Wilson Park, the Festival carries on it’s long History and reputation for featuring some of the top fine artists from across the country, but also hosting many of the well known and beloved New England and local Rhode Island artists widely admired by art enthusiasts. Wilson Park is located on 211 West Main Street (across from Centreville Bank, 234 West main Street, Wickford) in North Kingstown

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The festival hosts over 200 artists showcasing their fine art in a variety of mediums including: ceramics, wood, wearable and decorative fiber, furniture, fine jewelry, drawing, etching, glass, mixed media, painting (watercolors, oil, gouache, acrylic), photography, printmaking, pyrography, and sculptures.

ADMISSION
Admission is always free and as an added bonus to fine art collectors, Rhode Island does not collect sales tax on fine art sales!
“All original and limited edition works of art sold in the state of Rhode Island is exempt from state sales tax” RISCA (Rhode Island State Council on the Arts)
FESTIVAL INFO, FOOD & WHAT TO DO!
Parking is available at Wilson Park and Wickford Middle School. A complimentary shuttle will run from Wickford Middle School to Wilson Park. Parking is also available at the town’s public lots and permitted street parking on West Main Street, Main Street, Brown Street. (Click “Parking Map” below).
Upon arrival at the festival, stop by the Wickford Art Association information booth for a festival map, to purchase one of a kind festival apparel or enter to win a piece of art while supporting the scholarship raffle.
Historic Wickford just a ¼ mile walk from Wilson Park is set on beautiful Narragansett Bay and the village comes alive for this annual event. Make sure to stroll down and enjoy the beloved strawberry shortcakes on the lawn of First Baptist Church on Main Street! With beautiful views, gorgeous historic homes, dozens of quality shops and a variety of restaurants, artists and attendees come to experience this one of a kind festival year after year.
