2024 WNBA All-Star Game rosters: full list of players for both teams
The game will feature Team WNBA against Team USA, with notable rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese among the standout players. Caitlin Clark, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, has already made a significant impact with the Indiana Fever, leading all rookies in scoring and assists.
Angel Reese, the No. 7 pick by the Chicago Sky, has also been impressive, setting a single-season record for consecutive double-doubles and leading the league in rebounding.
Full roster of Team USA and WNBA All-Stars
The selection process for the All-Star teams involves fan voting, which counts for 50%, with the remaining votes split between current WNBA players and a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. The top ten vote-getters automatically earn a spot on the All-Star roster, provided they are not already on the USA Women’s National Team.
Historically, the WNBA All-Star Game has seen various formats, but the inclusion of rookies like Clark and Reese is notable as it marks the first time since 2014 that two first-year players will participate in the Game. This year’s Game will take place on July 20 in Phoenix, and it is expected to be a showcase of the league’s top talent and emerging stars.
As the WNBA continues to grow in popularity, the All-Star Game serves as a celebration of the league’s best players and a preview of the future stars of women’s basketball. With players like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese making waves, the 2024 All-Star Game is set to be an unforgettable event for fans and players alike
