After the FedExCup Playoffs and DP World Tour Championship, Golf’s pace has slowed for the giddy season, and The Bahamas is the perfect place to match it. Only Viktor Hovland (2021, 2022) and Tiger Woods (2006, 2007) have managed to win back-to-back Hero titles. This year, Hovland aims to make History as the first player to win three consecutive titles.

The 2023 Hero World Challenge will feature the top 18 players. It will include the eight best players in the world rankings, the two-time defending champion Viktor Hovland, and the world no.1 ranked Scottie Scheffler. Three members of the 2023 European Ryder Cup winning team will be there, alongside 11 players from the American squad.

The winners of the Open Championship and the US Open, Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman, will make their Hero World Challenge debut in 2023.

The four victorious Team Europe members Viktor Hovland, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose, and Sepp Straka will face off against Team US rivals Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Sam Burns, Wyndham Clark, and Brian Harman.

The remaining non-Ryder Cup representatives are Cameron Young, Keegan Bradley, Tony Finau, Jason Day, Lucas Glover, the host and pain-free Tiger Woods, and Will Zalatoris, who returns to comPetitive action after seven months out.
