When was the last time Adam Scott won a tournament on the PGA or European Tour?
Nobody expected the Aussie to be at the top of the leaderboard on Sunday at the Genesis Scottish Open, but Aberg and MacIntyre are struggling and Scott has found himself with a chance to win.
He has won 14 times on the PGA Tour and 11 on the DP Tour, previously known as the European Tour. He won the Masters Tournament in 2013 and was ranked No.1 in the world for 11 weeks in 2014. It seems like the Aussie Golfer has been around forever, but never gets old. He’ll turn 44 years old on Tuesday and has been a pro since 2000.
Next week he’ll play in his 25th Open Championship, this year at Royal Troon hoping to improve on his latest performances there. He finished in second place in 2012, T3 in 2013 and T5 in 2014, but has struggled since his T10 in 2015.
So, when was the last time Adam Scott won a tournament?
It’s been over four years since his last win, which was in February 2020 at the Genesis Invitational. He’s looking to win again today at another Genesis event, but this time in Scotland. It’s going to come down to the wire, but things are looking good for Adam Scott this time around.
