When can Joao Felix make his Chelsea debut?
We're not even halfway through the January transfer window and Joao Felix has already been confirmed as Chelsea's fourth signing of the month.
The Blues beat out the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United to secure Felix's loan for the remainder of the season, with Graham Potter in desperate need of attacking reinforcements.
Chelsea are struggling under their new boss and they were put to the sword by Manchester City at the weekend. There's little to no hope of silverware this term, with Potter's side currently languishing in mid-table.
Nevertheless, there's hope that the mightily gifted Felix could propel the west Londoners during the second half of the season. The Portugal international has flashed his talent at Atletico Madrid, but Diego Simeone's vintage ideals have prevented Felix from developing at the rate many expected.
Now's his chance to reignite his club career in the Premier League and Chelsea fans will be keen to see their shiny new toy in action as soon as possible. So, when can Felix make his debut?
When can Joao Felix make his Chelsea debut?
Supporters might not have to wait long to see Felix in action. Chelsea take on Fulham in the west London derby on Thursday night and the loan arrival could make his debut at Craven Cottage.
The Blues faced a race against time to secure Felix's signing in time for Thursday's Game, but confirmation of his arrival at Wednesday lunchtime would suggest that he'll be registered in time to play some part.
However, should Felix not play against Fulham, Chelsea are in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon as they welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old will surely make his home debut in that one.
