As mentioned, the Panthers won Saturday’s Game 5-0 with physical play and goaltending. They went 0-for-3 on the power play. Winnipeg’s torrid start has been built on the foundation of Hellebuyck standing on his head. He’s only allowed 4+ goals in a Game 3 times this season.
How will the Jets respond to this test in a brutal stretch of schedule against Eastern Conference foes? I think Florida punches them in the mouth again, and for a team that’s not used to playing from behind, they lose their 3rd in a row.
