WATCH: Hamilton responds to 'mad hippy' social media jibe
From Presidents to Oscar winners, some of the biggest faces in the world have had the 'mean tweets' treatment down the years, and now Lewis Hamilton has had his turn.
The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion was put in the hotseat by his Mercedes team to respond to unfavourable comments from social media users.
One in particular labelled Hamilton as a "mad hippy" and wondered when he would stop trying to change the world.
"What do you want me to say? I'm a positive guy," came the response from the driver who has been central to increasing diversity and equality within motorsport.
