The Carolina Panthers and the Washington CoMMAnders meet Sunday in NFL action from FedExField. Here’s a Washington CoMMAnders vs Carolina Panthers prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best CoMMAnders vs Panthers pick.

Carolina Panthers Betting Preview

The Panthers lost their first couple games this year, falling 47-10 to the Saints and 26-3 to the Chargers. Carolina would finally get in the win column with a 36-22 result versus the Raiders, but then fell 34-24 to the Bengals the next week, then 36-10 to the Bears on October 6.

Last weekend versus the Falcons, the Panthers were outscored 16-3 in the second half on the way to another loss 38-20. Andy Dalton finished with 221 yards, two scores and two interceptions. Diontae Johnson was the top receiver with his 78 yards and TD on six catches.

Washington Commanders Betting Preview

Over on the CoMMAnders’ side, they lost 37-20 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first outing of the year. Washington would then hit a hot streak however, taking wins over the Giants 21-18, Bengals 38-33, Cardinals 42-14 and Browns 34-13 in the next four outings.

Last weekend versus the Ravens, the CoMMAnders’ win streak came to a halt. Washington gave up 24 points between the second and third quarters in a 30-23 loss. QB Jayden Daniels finished with 269 yards and two scores while also leading an anemic rush with 22 yards on six totes.

Washington Commanders vs Carolina Panthers Prediction

I’m going to stay with the Commanders. The line inflated pretty quickly on this one though, so I’m probably not touching it. Washington left a lot to be desired in their loss to the Ravens back on Sunday. The Commanders went just 4-of-12 on third-down tries and posted just 52 rushing yards. On defense Washington gave up 484 yards (176 passing), 7.4 yards per play, 28 first downs, 6-of-10 on third-down conversions and 36:08 in time of possession.

As for Carolina, they gave up 423 yards (198 rushing), 6.2 yards per play and 25 first downs in the loss to Atlanta over the weekend. The offense came up with 335 yards (221 passing) and a couple of interceptions, while the Panthers committed 10 penalties overall. Carolina needs a lot of cleanup for this weekend, and I don’t quite think they’ll earn a road cover here.
