Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor Swift’s beau Travis Kelce is opening a steakhouse in the Missouri city with his teaMMAte, quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

After winning the Superbowl, the Kansas City Chiefs duo are now setting their eyes on another venture: their very own steakhouse. Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are teaming up with hospitality group Noble 33 to open up their own dining establishment, which promises to bring “a brand new, immersive and upscale dining experience to Kansas City”. The brand-new steakhouse is set to open next year—and has a very fitting name.

Kelce and Mahomes have been regulars of Noble 33’s restaurants, and so it was a no-brainer to partner with them on this venture. “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” said Mahomes.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end added, “We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City.”

Noble 33 has a number of restaurants under its belt located in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and London. They are also set to open establishments in Miami, Houston, and of course, Kansas City.

The aptly named 1587 Prime, a combination of their jersey numbers, will be housed within the Loews Hotel Kansas City and will span 10,000 square feet (around 932 square metres) across two floors. The establishment will have multiple dining rooms along with a wine selection that’s set to be the largest in the state. It will also have “hyper-subtle nods to Patrick and Travis’ on-field accomplishments”.

1587 Prime is set to open its doors in early 2025. You can follow the restaurant and Noble’s official Instagram pages for more updates.
