Travis Kelce celebrates his casting in Ryan Murphy’s ‘Grotesquerie’ with on-set videos: ‘New territory’
From the Football field to the silver screen.
Travis Kelce has been cast in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX series, “Grotesquerie,” according to multiple reports.
Deadline broke the news of the Kansas City Chief’s player’s first acting project on Tuesday.
Sources told the outlet that Kelce, 34, will make his acting debut alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville.
The series, which Murphy announced in February, has just started production and will premiere in the fall, the insider claimed.
Nash-Betts, 54, confirmed in an Instagram video that she was “on site” with Kelce.
“Guys, guess who I am working with on ‘Grotesquerie?'” the actress asked her followers before the tight end entered the frame.
“Jumping into new territory with Niecy!” the athlete exclaimed.
His co-star captioned the footage, “This is what happens when WINNERS link up!! @killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie [sic].”
The Emmy winner also posted a video on her Story of the NFL star hugging Murphy, https://cdn.thefoxposts.com/vimedia/2024/05/08/c0c10ba51182ac678fb8a610a715d2e1.webp, and saying he was “glad [he] didn’t hurt nobody.”
He wore a white collared shirt with matching jeans and sneakers on set, completing his look with a tan jacket.

Kelce’s rep has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The three-time Super Bowl winner, notably, has been on television before with women comPeting for his love on “Catching Kelce” in 2016.
News broke in March that the former reality star will host a new Game show for Amazon Prime video called “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”
Kelce, who has been dating Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023, is also the co-host of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
Swift has dabbled in acting herself, with the pop star taking on roles in “Valentine’s Day,” “The Giver” and more movies over the years.
