Bae’s journey to recovery began in the most heartbreaking of circumstances. Just days ago, he was discovered in a rural Texas shelter, a shadow of the majestic Labrador he once was. Neglect and abuse had left him broken and in desperate need of medical attention. His fur was matted, his eyes were filled with pain, and his spirit was visibly crushed.

Rescue  Dogs Rock NYC’s co-founder, Stacey Silverstein, was asked to intervene. The sight of Bae, alongside another neglected  dog, was enough to spur her into action. Stacey knew that with the right care, Bae could be given a second chance at life.

Upon his rescue, Bae was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic for a thorough examination. The extent of his neglect was alarming. He was malnourished, dehydrated, and suffering from multiple untreated medical conditions. The veterinarians determined that Bae needed surgery to address some of his most pressing Health issues.

A Second Chance

The team at Rescue  Dogs Rock NYC rallied around Bae, ensuring he received the best possible care. His surgery was a success, and although the road to recovery was long, Bae’s resilience shone through. Each day, he grew stronger, his once sad eyes beginning to sparkle with hope and gratitude.

Finding a Forever Home
