Colwill was a regular starter under Mauricio Pochettino when he was fit, making 32 appearances across all comPetitions.  He featured both as a centre-back and as a right-back.

With Thiago Silva leaving the club at the expiry of his contract,  Colwill is keen on featuring for the Blues in the CB position.  This is according to CaughtOffside.

Liverpool are keen on signing a top replacement for Joel Matip who is tipped to leave the club on free transfer. They have been long term admirers of Colwill, hence their interest in him.

Colwill has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich,  but with the club tagging Colwill ‘untouchable ‘, the 21-year old may not be leaving anytime soon.
