The city is a melting pot of cultures: Varsha Hegde on her Dubai trip
Kiss Ishq N Konnections (KINK) season 1 winner Varsha Hegde recently visited Dubai for the second time and says that the experience each time has been incredible.
Speaking about her trip, she said,
“I explored iconic landmarks like the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and the stunning Fountain show. I also enjoyed the vibrant nightlife at various clubs and took a trip to Palm Jumeirah.”
“What struck me most about Dubai was its cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere. The city is a melting pot of cultures, and I loved trying Middle Eastern cuisine and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. While Dubai has won my heart, Mumbai remains my favorite city,” she added.
But unfortunately, Varsha was not able to enjoy the moments post-trip as she met with an accident. Talking about it, she said,
“It was just two days after returning from Dubai. My brother-in-law and I were out on his bike, heading to an ATM, when the bike skidded and fell right outside my building. He suffered severe injuries, including bruises, while I escaped with minor bruises on my knees and wrist. I’m grateful that my injuries weren’t more severe, and I credit my good fortune to the grace of Lord Shiva, who protected me from harm.”
She is on the road to recovery and said that her focus is on her mental as well as physical Health.
“While my injuries will take time to heal, I’m relieved that they’re manageable. To aid in my recovery, I’m consuming nutritious food that will help me heal faster. I’m also prioritizing rest and self-care to ensure a smooth and speedy recovery,” she ended.
