The Milwaukee Brewers and the San Francisco Giants meet Tuesday in MLB action from Oracle Park. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this Game. Here’s a San Francisco Giants vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction.

Starting Pitching Matchup

The Milwaukee Brewers will send out Aaron Civale for the start here and Civale is 5-8 with a 4.62 ERA and 134 strikeouts this season. In his career, Civale is 2-1 with a 1.59 ERA and 17 strikeouts against the Giants. The San Francisco Giants did not have a starting pitcher announced at the time that this article was posted.

Milwaukee Brewers Recap

The Milwaukee Brewers come into this one looking to bounce back from back-to-back series losses after falling short against the Rockies thanks to a 4-1 loss in Sunday’s rubber match against Colorado. The series loss for Milwaukee followed up their series loss against the St. Louis Cardinals to start the week.

Brewers Inching Closer To NL Central Title

William Contreras leads the Brewers with 151 hits including 34 doubles and 82 RBIs along with 21 home runs and a .358 OBP while Rhys Hoskins has 23 home runs with 71 RBIs and Willy Adames has 29 doubles with 30 home runs and 101 RBIs. Brice Turang leads the Brewers with 41 stolen bases while Adames has a team-high 154 strikeouts as well this season. Jackson Chourio added 19 homers and 69 RBIs also on the year.

Why the Milwaukee Brewers will win

  • The Giants have lost seven of their last eight games against NL Central opponents that held a winning record.
  • The Brewers have won five of their last six night games against the Giants following a home loss.
  • The Giants have failed to cover the run line in seven of their last eight games against NL Central opponents that held a winning record.
  • The road team has covered the run line in four of the Brewers’ last five games.

San Francisco Giants Recap

The San Francisco Giants come into this one looking to build on their series win over the Padres thanks to a 7-6 win in Sunday’s rubber match. That snapped a series losing streak for the Giants that included sets against the Diamondbacks and Marlins in the month of September so far.

Giants Trying To Get Back To .500

Thairo Estrada has 79 hits along with 9 home runs and 47 RBIs while also chipping in 15 doubles. Michael Conforto has 90 hits with 16 home runs, 25 doubles, and 56 RBIs while Matt Chapman has 132 hits of his own alongside 34 doubles with 23 homers, 71 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases. Chapman also has the dubious distinction of leading the Giants with 145 strikeouts this season. Heliot Ramos has 20 home runs and 67 RBIs as well this year.

  • The Brewers have lost five of their last six games at Oracle Park.
  • The Giants have won five of their last six home games against NL Central opponents.
  • The Brewers have failed to cover the run line in each of their last seven Tuesday games against NL West opponents.
  • The Giants have covered the run line in five of their last six night games against the Brewers following a road win.

San Francisco Giants vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction

I’m on the over here. Aaron Civale’s pitched well in spots for Milwaukee since being acquired by the Brewers at the trade deadline, but the thing is that those starts came at home, where Civale has a 2.00 ERA as a Brewer. On the road it’s been a completely different story and not one I’d be all that excited about, so I think the Giants can get to Civale here, but I also think that the Brewers can wake up offensively and get to whoever the Giants are sending out here. I think we have a higher-scoring Game ahead, so give me the over here.
