Celtic are preparing for their final match of the season in the Scottish Cup, with a final against Rangers to play on Saturday.

This weekend, Hart will make his final professional appearance before retiring from Football. He played his last Game at Parkhead last week and got a great reception from the fans.

The impending final against Rangers, marking the fifth meeting between the two sides this season, could be a fitting farewell for Hart. Having already secured six trophies with Celtic, the 37-year-old is aiming to conclude his illustrious career with one final piece of silverware.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers admitted he would love to send Joe Hart off into the sunset, something many Celtic fans would agree with.

Speaking to Celtic TV, Rodgers said: “I think that will be there for Joe, there will certainly be an understanding, this being his last professional Game.

“He’s been absolutely brilliant in his time here, and we would all love to send Joe Hart off into the sunset with another trophy to his collection and finish off what has been an absolutely incredible career.

“But Joe likewise is very focused. He’s won another league title, and now he’s lasered in on helping the team in the Scottish Cup.”

It would be a fitting end to Joe Hart’s time at Celtic if the Scottish Cup does remain in Glasgow’s east end this summer. He’s come into Celtic and been a leader on and off the pitch, winning a league title in all three years of his time in Glasgow.
