The Minnesota Twins and the New York Mets meet Monday in MLB action from Citi Field. Here’s a NY Mets vs Minnesota Twins Prediction. This will be the first installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.

Over the weekend the Twins took on the Detroit Tigers. Minnesota split the first two installments of that set, then on Sunday the Twins rolled to a 5-0 shutout win. Starter Bailey Ober was great with 8.0 innings, one hit, two walks and 11 Ks.

NY Mets vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

I’ll stay with the Mets. Quintana does have one bad outing in this last three, a loss to the Rockies with five earned in 5.2 innings. In his other two however, Quintana is 2-0 with just one earned on four hits and six walks.

On Sunday the Mets had a few rough pitching outings. That said, the damage was localized to three innings and Atlanta only mustered eight hits. Still, New York needs a lengthy start from Quintana to take some of the heat off the pen in Monday’s matchup.
