OKC Thunder -5.5 (-110)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to Score 30+ Points (+100)

Tyrese Maxey to Score 30+ Points (+170)

Same Game Parlay odds: +820

OKC Thunder -5.5 (-110)

The Thunder have actually struggled in head-to-head meetings with the 76ers, winning just 2 of the last 10 Games. But, with Joel Embiid out of the line-up this could be their best chance of turning around that poor run of form. Embiid torched them for 35 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists in the first meeting, it’ll be hard for Philadelphia to make up for that kind of a production here.

Oklahoma City comes into this one on the heels of a very important 1-point win at New York, with SGA scoring the game winning bucket. They are still in pole position in the West standings, winning games like these is a priority if they want home court advantage throughout the West bracket. Philadelphia did win at Toronto the other day, they exploded with 24 threes made in a 135-120 win. However, I’m not sure they can pull off back-to-back performances like that. Go with Oklahoma City to cover.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to Score 30+ Points (+100)

We are in the final 8 games of the regular season and this is the perfect time for SGA to further increase his case to win MVP honors. He finished with a modest 19 points against New York but had the game winning basket with seconds left as the Thunder won for the 7th time in 9 games.

He had 31 points vs the 76ers in the first meeting of the season, his 2nd Game in a row of 30+ against this team. He’s scored at least 29 in 3 of the last 4 meetings, so I think it’s not an unrealistic ask for him to get 30 here. The 76ers defense has been handicapped by the absence of Embiid, opposing players have an open lane to the basket and are punishing them on a nightly basis. I expect SGA to do just that, he’s shooting over 53% from the field and over 38% from three in road Games this season.

Tyrese Maxey to Score 30+ Points (+170)

Maxey has a hip issue and is questionable to play here, but I think he will be able to suit up after sitting out the game vs Toronto the other night. Without his contribution on offense, it’s hard to expect Philadelphia to stay in this game for long. He had 28 points in the first meeting of the season, despite going just 3-for-9 from downtown. Ever since Embiid went down, Maxey has had the ultimate green light on offense.

With the big fella eyeing a return to the line-up as early as this week, changed are bound to happen. Until then though, I expect Maxey to be fully engaged and do his best to carry this very limited Philly offense on his back. OKC allows the 7th highest number of points per game from the free throw line in the NBA, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Maxey went to the line more than 10 times here. If that happens, he’s got a pretty good chance of scoring 30 points.
