Multi-lingual Health Fair: 12+ agencies offer healthcare and insurance info in Providence
Wheelhouse Health Navigation and The Rhode Island Department of Health are hosting a Navigating Health Fair in hopes of making it easier for patients and their families who have questions about Healthcare and insurance get the answers they need in one convenient location.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 9am to 2pm at the South Side Cultural Center, 393 Broad Street in Providence.
During the event, attendees will receive help making doctor appointments; registering for Health insurance, including Medicaid; scheduling transportation; and arranging for interpreters.
The event is free, and childcare will be available.
In addition, interpreters will be on hand for Spanish, Haitian, Creole, and Ukrainian-speaking attendees. Anyone who needs an interpreter for a language not listed can request one by emailing info@wheelhouse-Health.com.
