In the first Game the Bulldogs were able to beat Eastern Kentucky 56-7 in the first Game, but in the last Game against Arizona State they were defeated. Arizona State was down 27-3 at halftime, and even though they fought back they ended up losing 30-23. Blake Shapen was good at quarterback and he completed 18 of his 28 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns. 

Wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. caught four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. The offense needs to be more balanced in this Game. If they don’t, this is going to be a very long season. The defense creating a couple of turnovers would also really help. 

Toledo Has Confidence

Toledo has to have a ton of confidence after winning their first couple of Games of the season. In the first Game against Duquesne, Toledo was able to secure the 49-10 victory and in the last Game against UMass they were able to secure the 38-23 victory. Against UMass they jumped out to a 7-0 lead and although UMass fought back, they were able to secure the win. Even though they scored 38 points, the offense actually didn’t really move that ball all that well. 

Tucker Gleason completed 8 of his 23 passes for 175 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He was also the top rusher, finishing with three rushes for 34 yards. Junior Vandercross did have a huge Game, finishing with three catches for 115 yards and a touchdown. 

Mississippi State vs Toledo Prediction

Toledo still scored 38 points in the last game even though the offense wasn’t exactly elite and in this game it’s going to be the offense that is good again. Mississippi State doesn’t have a a balanced offense and their lack of balanced offense is going to really hurt them in this game.
