Mark Consuelos was recently mistaken for his “Live!” predecessor Regis Philbin while attending a star-studded New York Knicks Game.

During Tuesday’s taping of “Live With Kelly and Mark,” Consuelos told his wife and co-host, Kelly Ripa, about his fun night at Madison Square Garden — including the funny moment a woman got him mixed up with the longtime TV host, who died in 2020.

“We ate in the owner’s lounge,” the 52-year-old “Riverdale” alum recalled. “This lady thought I was Regis. She goes, ‘You’re Regis! and I said, ‘I’m not! I’m not. But let’s talk!’”

Consuelos — who sat courtside alongside Tracy Morgan and Chris Rock — defended the woman, saying he “knew what she meant.”

“She was like, ‘He’s very muscular!’ And I go, ‘That’s me!’” he teased, noting that she was “lovely” despite the mix-up.

In fact, the woman told Consuelos that she watched their show “every morning,” prompting him to give her a quick shout-out.

“So, if you’re watching, hi!” he said, giving the camera a small wave.

Philbin, who died at the age of 88, started hosting the beloved TV program in 1988 alongside Kathie Lee Gifford.

Gifford eventually left the show in 2000 and the highly coveted job was given to Ripa the following season. The pair successfully hosted the show together for a decade until Philbin’s retirement in 2011.

While the “All My Children” actress, 53, worked alongside Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest in the years following, Consuelos officially took over last year.

The couple’s first official episode aired in April 2023 and — despite some initial skepticism from fans — “Live!” earned its best weekly audience ratings in three years with the husband-and-wife co-hosts at the helm.

Since then, the pair have become quite comfortable on air, often joking about their steamy sex life and relatable marriage squabbles.

Last week, Ripa told viewers she was more tired than usual because Consuelos kept her “awake all night” — prompting the actor to flex his biceps and flash the crowd a suggestive grin.

Despite the joking, Ripa told the audience that the reason for her lack of sleep was actually due to her husband’s “snoring” — not hanky panky.

Consuelos was snoring so loud that Ripa tried to drown him out by playing a “Dateline” podcast on her “noise-canceling headphones.”

“I couldn’t hear Keith Morrison over the snoring, so I started jostling you, and jiggling you, and some light kicking and some light slamming on the bed next to you, and you would not, could not [stop],” she said.

The couple met while filming “All My Children” in 1995 and wed one year later.
