Man Utd senior figures 'hopeful' of Jadon Sancho reintegration after first-team banishment
Senior figures at Manchester United are 'hopeful' that Jadon Sancho will be reintegrated into Erik ten Hag's first-team plans, sources have confirmed to 90min.
Sancho is currently training away from the first-team after claiming on social media that he was being made a "scapegoat" when Ten Hag revealed the winger was not selected for United's loss at Arsenal due to poor training levels.
"Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue," Sancho said at the time. "I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
"I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!"
The 23-year-old initially refused to take down his post on X (formerly Twitter), but later agreed to remove it from his feed. The England international has now deactivated his Instagram account.

Sancho is still refusing to apologise to Ten Hag for this outburst and, as the Dutchman has suggested in press conferences, will not be allowed to return until he does.
"It depends on him," Ten Hag most recently said about Sancho ahead of Saturday's win at Burnley.
90min understands that the United squad are firmly behind Ten Hag with this issue, though senior figures at the club - including Football director John Murtough - are attempting to smooth things over and are eager for Sancho to return to the first-team fold.
Sources close to United claim the club are more 'hopeful' than confident that Sancho will be reintegrated into Ten Hag's plans, however.
90min reported earlier in September that Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq were interested in Sancho and United were open to sanctioning a move, but such a deal was not able to be completed prior to their transfer deadline.
