Lisa Vanderpump admits Andy Cohen is ‘naughty’ – but still on his side amid Leah McSweeney lawsuit: ‘Damn right’
Lisa Vanderpump has made it clear that she’ll always have Andy Cohen’s back.
During her appearance on Tuesday’s episode of “The Talk,” the reality star was asked where she “stands” with the Bravo head honcho amid allegations of drug use and inappropriate behavior, which he’s denied.
When further pressed on whether she’s heard “rumors” that Cohen “may be negotiating stepping down,” Vanderpump replied, “Well I hope not, I really do.”
The “Vanderpump Rules” star, 63, added that she’s “always had a very playful relationship” with Cohen, 55, and pointed to her several solo appearances on his talk show, “Watch What Happens Live.”
“[I’ve] had a kind of very connected relationship, and he’s playful, he’s inappropriately naughty like I am too,” she continued. “I mean, that’s what Bravo is a lot of the time, but it’s innocuous. He is a gay man that we have a lot of fun with.”
Vanderpump emphasized her stance by saying, “Damn right I’m on his side!”
“It’s strange that a lot of these allegations seem to come from people that are no longer working for Bravo,” Vanderpump noted, referring to the various claims made by ex-Bravo stars Leah McSweeney and Brandi Glanville.
“We’ve seen ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ it’s one of those talks shows where you can be slightly inappropriate and slightly naughty, but when it comes to drug allegations, a thousand percent I would know and no way does it ever happen, no way!”
Last week, rumors began circulating that Cohen was leaving the network after a report by In Touch claimed that “negotiations for Cohen’s departure package are underway.”
However, a spokesperson for Bravo later denied that claim, telling multiple outlets, “There is absolutely no truth to this story and [the publication’s] source obviously has no clue about the situation.”

In February, Page Six broke the news that McSweeney, an alum of “Real Housewives of New York,” filed a lawsuit that accused Cohen of doing cocaine with stars from the franchise.
Cohen slammed the allegations as “completely false” and a “shakedown” via his rep and attorney.
“Mr. Cohen never used cocaine with any cast member on any ‘Real Housewives’ show or with any other Bravo employee,” his lawyer wrote in the letter seen by Page Six in March.
Right before McSweeney’s lawsuit came to light, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Glanville sent Cohen a legal letter that accused him of sexual harassment.
Cohen subsequently publicly apologized and claimed the incident in question was meant “in jest.”
