In the first Game of the season, UNLV beat Houston 27-7 and in the last Game against Utah Tech they were able to secure the 72-14 victory. At the end of the first quarter against Utah Tech, they were able to secure the 28-7 victory. Matthew Sluka had a strong Game, completing 8 of his 17 passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns. 

Greg Burrell and Hajj-Malik Williams both ran wild. Sluka finished with 11 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Williams finished with 10 carries for 88 yards. In this Game, if the defense finds success and creates a couple of turnovers, they should be in good shape. They also need to find a way to slow down the run. They are going to give up some points here, but the lower scoring this Game is, the better the chance that UNLV is going to come away with a victory or a cover.
