Los Angeles Angels Recap
The Los Angeles Angels will look to win the rubber match of the series after evening the set up at one win apiece thanks to a 9-5 win in Tuesday’s matchup. The win gives the Angels a chance to bounce back from series losses to the Blue Jays and Braves over the last week and a half.
Angels Trying To Stay Out Of AL West Basement
Going into Tuesday, Taylor Ward has 109 hits along with 22 doubles, 16 home runs and 56 RBIs while Zach Neto has 27 doubles, 106 strikeouts and 22 stolen bases. Luis Rengifo also has 85 hits and 24 stolen bases while Jo Adell has 18 home runs, 56 RBIs and 14 stolen bases as well. Logan O’Hoppe has 97 hits and Neto has a team-high 109 hits as well with O’Hoppe adding 17 homers and 48 RBIs.
Why the Los Angeles Angels will win
- The Royals have lost 10 of their last 11 night games against AL West opponents following a home loss.
- The Angels have won seven of their last eight night games against American League opponents that held a winning record.
- The Angels have covered the run line in each of their last seven road games against American League opponents following a road win.
- The Royals have failed to cover the run line in eight of their last nine games against AL West opponents.
Kansas City Royals Recap

Kansas City Royals vs LA Angels Prediction
I’m on the Royals in this one. I just think that Kansas City is the better team by a fair margin and the Angels getting the win on Tuesday was simply because they were against a lefty, and that’s where Los Angeles’ bread has been buttered as of late. Against righties has been a different story for the Halos, and I think it just boils down to the Royals being heads and shoulders the better team in this matchup. Give me Kansas City big here.
