Joey Graziadei apologizes for confusing Ruth Bader Ginsburg with Gypsy Rose Blanchard during White House visit
Joey Graziadei poked fun at his now-viral blunder involving Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The current “Bachelor” lead, who mixed up the convicted felon and the late Supreme Court justice earlier this month, got a private tour of the White House from Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
In a short clip posted to the Bachelor Nation TikTok page, Jean-Pierre is seen showing the reality star around her office.
“You know, you say that you’re really good with names,” she teased, while pointing to a photo of Ginsburg on her shelf.
“I’m so sorry,” Graziadei conceded.
“It was a bad time,” he went on.
“I knew that that wasn’t actually her in the photo. Ruth came to my head. But I know I won’t live that one down. I know how much of a legend she is and how much she’s done for equal rights and women empowerment.”
As previously reported, the pro Tennis coach was playing a Betches Game where he had to guess the names of famous people, and incorrectly identified Blanchard as the trailblazing lawyer.
“Is it Ruth?” he asked in the original clip. “It’s Jinsburg or Ginsburg or something like that. Am I wrong?”
Fans were quick to laud the Pennsylvania native, 28, for addressing the gaffe head-on.
“him being so apologetic and self aware about RBG is sending me,” one person commented on the White House clip.
“the immediate ‘i’m so sorry’ is KILLING me,” another fan chimed in, while a third wrote, “WHAT IS GOING ONNNNN.”

One viewer hilariously commented, “I bet the White House is giving him old school vibes,” referencing a scene from the ABC dating show in which Graziadei described an ancient European city as having an “old-school vibe.”
“I’m excited to be in Malta,” Graziadei said in a voiceover during last week’s episode.
“I can tell why people love to come here. It’s absolutely beautiful,” he added.
“It kind of has that old-school vibe to it. You can tell there’s a lot of culture.”
Historians estimate Malta has been inhabited since around 5900 BC. It is also home to temples older than both Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza.
