Instagram to let users add polls in comments section
Instagram has started testing a feature where users can add a poll option in the comment section under the posts.
Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram shared the update on his broadcast channel of his platform. He mentioned that the new feature is a way to help creators increase engagement on the posts.
The option to add polls will be available for both regular feed posts and Reels. The format of it will be similar to the ones shared in stories. However, it is unclear how long the polls will remain open after they are posted.

The feature is an addition to the idea of making the comment section more interactive and engaging. The new option is currently available for the limited audience for testing and will be rolled out soon.
