How much are tickets for game 5 of the 2024 World Series in New York?
A line was thrown to the New York Yankees, and they caught it. Well, perhaps a fan in the stands caught it, but they survived another day nonetheless.
The Dodgers fell to a 11-4 defeat in Game 4 against an opponent they had beaten for three consecutive Games, and now the World Series will continue as the mumblings of ‘could this happen?’ ripple from the stands.
And so, with the overall scoreboard flashing 1-3, the battle continues...
In Game 4, we witnessed ugly scenes as a Dodgers fan ripped the ball from the glove of Mookie Betts as he caught out Gleyber Torres in the bottom of the first inning. The umpire quickly called Torres out due to fan interference, and security quickly escorted the disgraced fan from the stadium.
How much are tickets for Game 5 of the World Series?
At the time of writing, the cheapest tickets, via StubHub, sit at $438, which give you a clear view from the top of the grandstand, overlooking the field of play from behind the batter.
They then bump to to around $550, which sit you one tier lower in the ground. Passing the $600 dollar mark we get to the outfield part of the stadium, where you can find seats as low as Row 8. However, getting closer to the action and sitting on the first few rows will nearly double the numbers involved, which float in and around the $1,100 price point.
Perching yourself right behind the mound, in line with the play costs in excess of $2,000, and get ready to see that price shoot up past $5,000 if you want to get anywhere down low in the stadium.
The most expensive tickets, at the time of writing, are situated in the Legends Suite, right behind the home plate. For your - wait for it - $15,000, you get in-seat service (I should hope so!) and comfy seating.
But they are not the most expensive! No, dear reader, those are situated above the home dugout benches at Yankee Stadium, where you can see, feel and taste the blood, sweat and tears of the players. These tickets cost, gulp, just over $17,000 and give you in-seat service and a cushioned seat.
The World Series continues in New York on Wednesday, Oct. 30 with Game 5’s first pitch scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET.
