Houston Astros vs Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction
I’ll try the Diamondbacks in this one. Probably not touching it in reality, though. Nelson has been pretty steady over his last three starts. He’s 2-0 in that trio with six earned runs in 19.0 total innings. As for Verlander, he’s been struggling with 11 earned runs over 14.2 innings in his last three starts, resulting in an 0-3 run.
On Saturday the Diamondbacks didn’t have too bad of a night offensively with 10 team hits. Arizona had a couple of rough pitching performances though, as Rodriguez and Dylan Floro combined for nine earned runs. The Diamondbacks will need quite the turnaround Sunday.
