More specifically, the Rays have lost five of the team’s last seven Games played this season, including a 5-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals last week.

Now that we have determined how both of these Major League Baseball teams are currently playing let’s shift our attention to tonight’s game. Houston outfielder Yordan Alvarez continues to be an important part of the Houston Astros lineup this season. In his last three games played for the Houston Astros in 2024, Yordan Alvarez has accumulated a whopping eight hits (three home runs), nine runs scored, and three walks in only 15 plate appearances. Clearly, Houston outfielder Yordan Alvarez is swinging the bat at a high level entering this evening’s matchup with the Rays.
