Fabio Carvalho makes Liverpool exit decision - report
Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho is leaning towards joining Hull City on loan this winter, according to a report.
Carvalho was recalled from a loan with RB Leipzig earlier this month after managing just over 150 Bundesliga minutes across nine separate appearances, and Liverpool have been fielding offers from interested sides to take the 21-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season.
According to The Athletic, Carvalho is expected to join Hull, where he would reunite with fellow Liverpool youngster Tyler Morton, a defensive midfielder who has made a big impact for the Championship promotion hopefuls this season.
Hull, who are one point outside the promotion spots, must still fend off comPetition from third-placed Southampton, but Carvalho is understood to be keen on moving to the MKM Stadium this month.
Carvalho spent just one season in the Championship with Fulham but was among the division's best players across the 2021/22 campaign, racking up ten goals and eight assists to inspire a title victory and promotion back to the Premier League.
After making it into the division's Team of the Year, Carvalho joined Liverpool and he has since managed 21 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side, regularly appearing off the bench at the start of last season before eventually struggling for minutes.
A loan to Leipzig was agreed upon last summer but Carvalho would start just three Games across all comPetitions before Liverpool decided to recall him.
Liverpool rejected permanent offers for Carvalho's services last summer. The 21-year-old is under contract until 2027.
