F1 does not anticipate any delays to Monaco after Imola cancellation
Formula 1 does not expect there to be any set-up delays to next weekends Monaco Grand Prix, as personnel have been allowed access to the Imola circuit to dismantle motorhomes and equipment.
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend was cancelled by F1 due to adverse weather in the region, which caused floods and local infrastructure problems.
F1 Chief Executive Officer, Stefano Domenicali, said the decision to not proceed with the race was taken to ensure there was no "extra burden for authorities" while they deal with the situation in the region.
TheFOXposts.Com understands that personnel have been granted access to the circuit this morning for essential activities only, which includes packing up and shipping out equipment to the next race in Monaco.
The Monaco Grand Prix is still scheduled to take place on 26th - 28th May as planned.
