Duke vs Northwestern Player Props
September 6, 2024 9:00 pm EDT

Week 2 of the CFB season kicks off on Friday, with the Duke Blue Devils and Northwestern Wildcats facing off. There is value all across the board with the CFB Player Props Draftkings Pick6. Let’s take a look at some Duke vs Northwestern Player Props for this college Football Game

Before we look at who should be in your Pick6 lineup, let’s go over a reminder about how the contest works.

The goal for participants is to make more correct picks than the other participants in each contest. Winning entries receive a share of the available prizes. In Pick6, participants can build lineups of between 2 and 6 players and comPete against participants with the same lineup size. The more picks you include in a lineup, the higher a payout could be.

Maalik Murphy Under 208.5 Passing Yards

Duke quarterback Maalik Murphy threw for 291 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the first game on 40 pass attempts against Elon, but this is a much tougher matchup for him. Northwestern allowed Brett Gabbert to throw for 227 yards in the first game, but a lot of that was in the second half when they were trying to come back. Northwestern’s defense is going to step up here against the pass, and Duke will keep the ball on the ground. Murphy will finish under 200 passing yards.

Mike Wright Over 169.5 Passing Yards

Mike Wright completed 18 of his 30 passes for 178 yards for Northwestern in the first Game, and some might say he wasn’t all that dynamic. Northwestern might still run the ball plenty here, but Wright is going to have a solid Game through the air and finish with closer to 200 passing yards. I also expect he’s going to find a way to get this ball into the end zone.

Jaquez Moore Under 48.5 Rushing Yards

Duke running back Jaquez Moore finished with 10 carries for 24 yards and a touchdown, and it wasn’t smooth sailing. It’s pretty clear the Duke running game could be a problem all season, and now against the Northwestern defense, they are going to really struggle to get the running game here. Moore will finish right around 30 rushing yards here, and the under is going to cash here.

Bonus Player Prop Bets

Cam Porter 60+ Rushing Yards +105

Cam Porter is going to get over the 60-yard rushing mark for Northwestern here. Porter finished with 13 carries for 63 yards in the first game, and he’s going to get plenty of running attempts again here. Porter should finish closer to the 70 yard mark, but we are going to play it safer here and get the +105.

1st Duke Drive Result – Punt -170

I admit the -170 is a high number to lay, but this is still a pretty safe bet. Northwestern’s defense is going to be really solid this year, and Duke is going to really struggle to move the ball early against the defense. Duke is going to be doing plenty of punting in this Game, including on their first drive.
