Last season, Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks targeted wide receiver Cooper Kupp a robust 95 times. In those 95 targets just mentioned, Kupp tallied an impressive 59 receptions, 737 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns.

Now that we have determined how Cooper Kupp played last season, let’s turn our attention to the 2024 NFL regular season. Last week, in the Detroit Lions 26-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles wide receiver Cooper Kupp was targeted by quarterback Matthew Stafford a whopping 21 times. In those 21 targets just noted, Kupp accumulated 110 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

Looking closer at the data just presented, in the Lions win over the Rams last week, Cooper Kupp accumulated a massive 35.1 Draftkings points. It has to be said, those are the type of fantasy numbers that I need to see from a player that I select at the captain position for a Draftkings NFL Showdown contest.

In my opinion, Rams wide receiver DeMarcus Robinson’s low Draftkings price of only $5,800 presents the best fantasy value of any player on this one game NFL Showdown slate.
