Looking closer at the data just presented, in the 33 games that Caitlin Clark has played for the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA regular season, Clark has tallied a robust 42.1 Draftkings points a game.

More recently, in the Indiana Fever’s 100-93 victory over the Dallas Wings three days ago, Caitlin Clark certainly played at a high level. Clark accumulated a whopping 28 points, four rebounds, and 12 assists in the Fever’s win over the Wings.

From a general matchup perspective, I like Clark’s matchup in this WNBA regular season contest. Why? Indiana point guard Caitlin Clark will face a Los Angeles Sparks defense that has struggled on the defensive side of the basketball all season.

I mentioned earlier in this article that the Sparks have not been playing good defense in 2024. Well, neither has the Indiana Fever. The Fever enter tonight’s game as the 11th ranked team in the WNBA in total team defensive rating. Considering the WNBA only has 12 teams in the entire league I think it’s fair to say that the Indiana Fever are currently not a good defensive basketball team.
