While all the focus has been on the Golden Knights’ potential lineup in the playoffs, they have to get their first. Vegas is losing its grip on a playoff spot. The good news for the Golden Knights is they’re returning home for a few games where they’re 20-10-2 compared to 15-14-5 on the road. 

The New Jersey Devils have also been having their own struggles. New Jersey is 2-6-0 in the month of March after Saturday’s loss in Arizona, and it's now allowed the first goal in 49 of its 67 Games.

This is simply a great spot for the Golden Knights at home as they had two days off while the Devils were in a hard-fought battle against the Coyotes just 24 hours prior to this game.
