I have to stick with Baltimore here. Eflin had a spotty start in his last appearance, taking a loss to the Rays with 5.2 innings and three earned on eight hits and a walk. In his two starts prior to that however, Eflin went 2-0 with 13.0 innings and just two earned runs. He should be good for a quality start Friday if all goes well.

This week Baltimore coughed up quite a bit of runs to Boston: 20 combined over three Games. The O’s lost two of those three, and they’ve fallen in four of the last five overall. The bats and the pen need to come along for the ride, but Eflin should set the team up well while he’s out there.
