It must be the shoes!

After the invitations for Fanatics mogul Michael Rubin’s upcoming July Fourth party in the Hamptons were created by artist George Condo, Rubin and Travis Scott found out a way for the 350 guests lucky enough to get invites to show up in style, too.

Guests attending the party received limited-edition pairs of Nike and Scott sneakers on Saturday that were custom-made just for the bash.

The 350 pairs of all-white, low-top Cactus Jack Air Jordans are numbered, with each guest’s name individually on the insole — plus their initials inside the kicks’ stylish tongues, too.

The “Cactus Jack AJ 1 Lows” — which will never be released to the public — arrived in white suitcases that look like they’re carrying the nuclear codes.

(The cases are branded with Scott’s Cactus Jack logo and “White Party” on the back. A custom bag also reads “Michael Rubin’s White Party, July 4 2024, Bridgehampton.”)

Sneakerhead sources speculate that the very limited-edition shoes could be worth up to $50,000 on the market.

But don’t expect them to show up on StockX.

A card that comes with the unique sneaks reads: “Don’t puke on these!,” as well as the warning, “Not for resale — I know who you are.”

The card from Rubin and Scott adds, “See you July 4th,” and is signed, “Trav and Rubin.”

To create the custom shoes, we hear that Rubin’s office was calling guests last fall to get their sizes.

The guest list this year is being kept tighter than ever. A source says, “They’re getting hundreds of calls a day, and had two separate offers of $1 million donations” to no avail.

“Numerous business titans, billionaires, artists and athletes have been told there’s no room for them as they’re sticking to the 350 people,” the insider adds.

The guest list is half of the Met Gala, which has 600 to 700 attendees.

On Saturday, numerous guests, including Rubin pal Will Makris, started posting pics of their numbered shoes on Instagram. The shoes are only for those attending the coveted bash, we’ve learned.

Meantime, Scott has turned his arrest this week in Miami into another branding opportunity.

After an alleged misdemeanor kerfuffle involving a boat party he was asked to leave, the star almost immediately released a T-shirt with his mugshot on it and the hilarious two-word quip he told cops when they’d asked him if he’d been drinking that night: “It’s Miami.”

His attorney, Bradford Cohen, also previously told Page Six, “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding… we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”

Scott is known as a regular attendee at Rubin’s mansion bash, along with Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Drake, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Tom Brady, Emily Ratajkowski and other A-listers and pro athletes.

About 300 black-and-white Condo works previously went out to guests in NYC and LA that were individually numbered and personally signed by the artist, who made the invites as a pal of Rubin’s. (We hear they’re expected to collaborate on a potential Topps collection.)

Rubin’s bash is also known for its many performances.
