Colorado Rockies vs Washington Nationals Prediction
I’ll stay with the Nationals. Irvin could use a bit of a bounce-back, though. In his last start Irvin took a loss versus Arizona with four earned in 5.0 innings. Prior to that however, Irvin had 12.0 innings with just one earned. As for Freeland, he’s given up 13 earned runs in his last 13.1 innings over three starts, going 0-2 in that time.
On Saturday the Nats had some bad breaks, but they also blew a 7-5 lead in the eighth inning. The bullpen—and the pitching overall—was pretty rough. Washington needs a much better finish on Sunday.
