Texas Rangers Betting Preview
In their last set the Rangers took on the Pittsburgh Pirates in their last series. Texas lost Tuesday but won the other pair. In their Friday opener versus the Guardians, Texas managed a 5-3 win. Nathan Eovaldi logged three earned in 6.0 innings as starter.

It’ll be Ben Lively in the start for the Guardians on Saturday. This year Lively is 10-8 with a 3.68 ERA in 22 starts. Lively is 18-25 with a 4.55 ERA in 67 Games (54 starts) over his career.

Cleveland Guardians vs Texas Rangers Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Guardians. Probably not touching it, though. Lively hasn’t been terrible in his last three starts, but he’s sporting a rough 0-2 record in that time. Lively has notched nine earned runs over a span of 14.2 innings during that trio. As for Gray, he’s coming off 2.0 frames and one earned versus the Pirates in his return to the mound.
On Friday the Guardians gave up four runs in the second and couldn’t make the comeback. After Bibee and Cade Smith gave up the earned runs the bullpen was great, though. If Cleveland can avoid the big innings Saturday they’ll be fine.
