Christy Turlington says son’s ‘rude’ basketball opponents passed around her nude photo as ‘heckling tactic’

Christy Turlington has supermodel mom problems.

The runway legend admitted to Harper’s Bazaar Wednesday that she “wanted to disappear” when her 18-year-old son Finn’s high school basketball opponents passed around a nude photo from one of her old shoots.

“I was surprised it hadn’t happened sooner,” she said of the incident, which the magazine referred to as a “heckling tactic.”

While calling out the “rude” teenagers, Turlington, 55, clarified, “I don’t feel embarrassed about anything. Regretting things is a waste of time.”

She noted that the school got involved in the Scandal.

The top model, who also shares daughter Grace, 20, with her husband, Edward Burns, called herself a “shy person” who is “quiet and studies people” elsewhere in the interview.

Turlington said she avoids online trolling by disabling comments on her Instagram posts, per her eldest child’s recommendation.

“I’m really happy that I don’t [have to see],” she said. “I can’t say that I’m Teflon. I’m sure if I did read something that was pointed or mean, it would hurt me in the same way.

“But I also try not to give that much attention to any of it.”

The brunette beauty still models “here and there” but told the outlet that two days of shooting in a row is “too much” for her to handle now.

Most recently, Turlington made headlines for her London Fashion Week appearance in September 2023 with fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford.

The trio starred in Apple+’s “The Super Models” docuseries, which aired that same month.

As for Turlington’s daughter, Grace is following her footsteps.

The New York University student made her catwalk debut in June 2023 at the British Vogue x LuisaViaRoma show, following that up with Milan Fashion Week three months later.

Earlier that same year, Grace posed alongside her mother in a Carolina Herrera campaign.
