Joe Hart Praises “Big Moments” Celtic Star
Celtic’s 3-0 victory over Hearts at Parkhead on Saturday not only pushed Celtic closer to clinching the league title but also showcased the collective spirit and individual brilliance that has been missing at some points this season.
Joe Hart was particularly vocal in his admiration for Kyogo Furuhashi’s pivotal role in the match, during a post-Game interview with Celtic TV.
Kyogo delivered a standout performance by scoring twice in the early stages of the Game, setting the tone for what would become a dominant display by Celtic.
Joe Hart, reflecting on the team’s performance and the vibrant atmosphere at Celtic Park, highlighted the importance of Kyogo’s contributions at critical moments. “It did look like a team effort today,” Hart said.
“It wasn’t perfect at the start but it was a good performance.
“This man’s [Kyogo] goals came at big moments for us. He’s got a bit of a knack for doing that.
“I thought we grew into the Game and the atmosphere was electric. Wow. You just can’t get enough of that.
“It’s one Game, we got the job done today and we move.”
With the end of his professional playing days in sight, Hart’s reflections carry the weight of experience and a deep appreciation for the squad at Celtic. He stressed the significance of squad depth and comPetition for places, which he believes drives the team forward. “It’s a squad effort. You can just see the energy that the boys coming on bring. The comPetition for places is really good and it drives you forward as a team. You can’t win anything without a squad,” Hart remarked.
