Celtic Set Price for Sead Haksabanovic After Challenging Loan at Stoke City
Sead Haksabanovic’s future at Celtic is up for discussion as the club has reportedly set an asking price of around 30 million Swedish Krona (£2.2 million) for the Montenegrin winger.
Haksabanovic, who moved to Celtic in 2022 under then-manager Ange Postecoglou, has struggled to make an impact during his loan spell at Stoke City in the English Championship.
After a lacklustre season where he only managed one goal and two assists across 22 appearances, often coming off the bench, Haksabanovic has decided against continuing with Stoke. With more than three years left on his contract with Celtic, he is expected to return to Glasgow this summer; however, his stay might be short-lived if a suitable offer comes in.
Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt reports that while Celtic are open to selling Haksabanovic, whether any clubs are willing to meet their valuation remains to be seen, especially considering his recent form. Celtic originally signed the winger for £1.7 million and are looking to make a slight profit on their investment.
