Celtic has announced that the highly anticipated ticket sale for their first Game of the season against Kilmarnock has been postponed due to a global Microsoft outage. The club released a statement saying, “Due to a global third-party system outage, some online services, including our ticketing platform, are experiencing disruption today.” They are monitoring the situation but have delayed the online sale of tickets for the opening fixture of the 2024/25 season.

The outage has also affected the sale of Celtic FC Women’s Season Tickets. Fans were eager to secure tickets for the August 4th match, with over 2,000 people in the online queue when the announcement was made. However, they will have to wait for the system issues to be resolved before they can purchase their tickets.

The disruption is part of a larger issue impacting Microsoft services worldwide, affecting various Businesses and services. Celtic supporters are advised to stay tuned for further updates regarding ticket availability.

Fans are frustrated because this Game will sell out when the club does manage to get them live. It will be the first chance to see the bhoys in comPetitive action since their Scottish Cup final win over Rangers back in May. It will also be Kasper Schmeichel’s first comPetitive Game for the club.
