Brittany Mahomes is ‘fully recovered’ after breaking her back: ‘I’m living my best life’
Brittany Mahomes is “finally fully recovered” nearly three months after fracturing her back.
“I’m doing great,” the personal trainer, 28, told E! News Friday. “I’m living my best life. My back is no longer broken, so that’s good.”
Mahomes said she is “back to doing the things that [she has] always been able to do,” like going to the gym and being hands-on with her two kids, Sterling, 3, and Bronze, 1.
“I’m staying on top of my health,” she continued. “Being active and healthy for my kids and my dogs is super important to me.”
Mahomes revealed in March that she was nursing a serious injury following the end of her husband Patrick Mahomes’ whirlwind NFL season.
“Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “Seriously. From: A girl with a fractured back.”
Although Brittany did not share exactly when the injury occurred, she seemed to be in good Health just a few weeks earlier at the 2024 Super Bowl and subsequent Chiefs parade.
Now that the former soccer player is fully healed, she is ready to hit the road for a European summer vacation.
The Mahomes are planning to Travel to Monaco this weekend to watch the Grand Prix alongside BFFs Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, according to a report from the US Sun.
Although the pop star has shows in Portugal on Friday and Saturday, the group reportedly will link up for the actual race on Sunday.
Both of the Chiefs players are investors in the Alpine Formula One team and have “been wanting to go to that glamorous Monaco Grand Prix for a while now,” per the outlet.
“They decided to take their ladies there, as they want to share this experience with them, to be there for one of the most exciting and chic sports events in the world,” a source said.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, became fast friends with Brittany after she started dating Kelce, also 34, last summer.
However, Patrick is the one who takes credit for the couple’s headline-making romance.
During Thursday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” the legendary quarterback explained that he was the one who invited Kelce to the July 2023 Eras Tour concert where the tight end famously tried — and failed — to shoot his shot with Swift.
“I like to take some of the credit; I was the one who invited Travis to his first Taylor concert,” Patrick said.
“He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker,” he continued, noting that he also “had some input” about the friendship bracelet Kelce made for the singer with his phone number on it.
“I was like, ‘Dude, just go for it. Go for it,’” Mahomes recalled. “And you know Travis, man. He does it, and he’s a great dude, and I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best.”
